1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Grappi API platform, developer portal, and related services ("Services") available at grappi.ai. By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent.

2. The Services

Grappi provides programmatic APIs for financial data and workflows in India — including document intelligence, KYC and identity verification, broker connectivity, portfolio statements, market data, calculators, and messaging. Some APIs are gated by access tier and require approval or additional verification before use.

3. Accounts and API keys

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • API keys are confidential. You are responsible for all activity performed with your keys; rotate them immediately if you suspect exposure.
  • Sandbox keys and sandbox credit are for evaluation only and carry no monetary value.

4. Fees, wallet, and billing

  • The Services are prepaid: you top up a wallet and each successful API call debits the per-call rate published on the pricing page (or your negotiated rate). Failed calls are automatically refunded to the wallet.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).
  • Wallet payments are processed by our payment gateway partner; we do not store card details.
  • Refunds of unused balance are handled per the Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and with all consents required from your end users.
  • Do not attempt to breach tenant isolation, probe or overload the platform, resell raw data feeds in violation of upstream licences, or use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation (including RBI, SEBI, and DPDP requirements).
  • Rate limits apply per key and per tenant; sustained abuse may result in throttling or suspension.

6. Data protection

Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy. Where you submit your end customers' personal data to the APIs, you confirm you have a lawful basis and the necessary consents to do so, and you remain the data fiduciary for that data; Grappi processes it on your instruction.

7. Availability and support

We target high availability but the Services are provided "as is" without uptime guarantees unless agreed in a separate order form. Support is available at support@grappi.ai.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, legal or regulatory requirement, security risk, or non-payment. You may close your account at any time; unused wallet balance is refundable per the Refund Policy.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grappi's aggregate liability arising out of the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by you for the Services in that period. Grappi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of data returned by the APIs.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or on the portal at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
